Even though [CHOOSE ANY FROM PHRASES BELOW AND INSERT IT HERE] I deeply and profoundly accept myself.

  • I feel this anxiety
  • I feel all this tension in my body
  • I feel this tightness in my chest
  • I can’t release this worry in my mind
  • I can’t seem to relax
  • All this anxiety weighing me down
  • I feel overwhelmed
  • I feel this constant worry
  • I feel uneasy
  • I can’t calm down.

You must have one statement that you will hold on to before you start tapping. You will state it as you tap each meridian point.

Here are the meridian points you will tap on:

  1. Side of the hand (Karate chop point) On the outer edge of the hand, between the base of the pinky finger and the wrist.

2. Top of the head – The crown of the head.

3. Eyebrow – At the beginning of the eyebrow, just above the nose.

4. Side of the eye – On the bone bordering the outer corner of the eye.

5. Under the eye – On the bone under the eye, about an inch below the pupil.

6. Under the nose – Between the bottom of the nose and the upper lip.

7. Chin – Midway between the bottom of the lower lip and the chin.

8. Collarbone – Just below the collarbone, about an inch from the base of the throat.

9. Under the arm – About 4 inches below the armpit.

10. Side of the fingers (traditional) – on the inner side or the edge of the nail of these:

Here’s how to execute your EFT tapping script for anxiety:

Start by tapping on the karate chop point using your two fingers, while saying your statement 5 times.

Let’s say this is your phrase:

Even though I feel this anxiety, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Start tapping on the other meridian points, with that phrase. You can also change it per meridian point if you wish. For example,

Top of the Head: “Even though I feel all this anxiety in my body, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

Eyebrow: “Even though I feel this tension in my chest, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

Side of the Eye: “Even though I can’t seem to relax, I deeply and complete accept myself”

Under the Eye: “Even though I have this worry in my mind, I deeply…”

Under the Nose: “Even though I feel overwhelmed, I deeply…”

Chin: “Even though I can’t calm down, I deeply….”

Collarbone: “Even though all this anxiety is weighing me down, I deeply…”

Under the Arm: “Even though, I feel so uneasy, I deeply”

In traditional EFT, you will continue tapping on the side your fingers. So after you tap under the arm, you can continue tapping on these points:

  • Thumb
  • Index
  • Middle
  • Little finger

Whether you include the fingers or not, to close the tapping sequence, you will go back to the karate chop point + your statement 15 times.

Feel free to customize the tapping script to address specific aspects of your anxiety. Here are some additional phrases you can use:

  • “I feel this constant worry.”
  • “I can’t release this tension.”
  • “All this nervous energy in my body.”
  • “I feel so stressed out.”
