Feeling defensive and defenseless?

Right off the bat, I can sense some imbalance between your energy (7 of Wands reversed) and the person you’re dealing with who has the Queen of Swords energy. You exhibit a more fiery approach to the situation, while your partner (or the person you’re dealing with) is trying to respond with tact, ready to slough off your pretense and guile.

As a Cancer, you are very much sensitive, so this person may have cold-heartedly told you something about you or your behavior that does not sit well with them. It could also be your Achilles heel, so it is with great passion that you explain (or maybe defend?) it with whole might. Do you feel like you’re over-committing to this situation, or feeling territorial about this issue? Maybe it’s just too personal that you wish not to talk about it.

The Sacred Phoenix is ready to die in your heart, so that it could fulfill its potential to come out in a new form. The energy from this card encourages you to honor your vulnerability, and make peace with it. Find what brings you joy

I am being guided to draw one more card for you, and quite interestingly (and I feel it to be in alignment with Rumi’s cards), you got: Purpose.

Your spirit guides are telling you not to settle with those feelings of insecurity and defensiveness, and channel it towards finding what brings you joy instead. How do you channel it, you might ask.
