Daily tarot spread – Called upon to make a difficult choice
This is your free daily tarot card reading, a spiritual guidance tarot reading for whoever needs it. I physically shuffle my decks to arrive at this reading, and I take the jump cards most of the time. Please take only what resonates with you, and leave what doesn’t. If you are drawn to this post, there might be something here that you need to hear today.
So, Let’s begin!
Sometimes it’s too easy to judge other people’s actions and label it as right or wrong. This card comes up in your reading with the reminder that you have no idea about a person’s motivation to act a certain way. And so sometimes we get too obsessed with our own troubles, we forget that others have too.
We are all sparks of the Divine, Oracle says, so we are not any greater than anybody else. Others’ actions are not for us to judge, but to understand.
Energies from the Daily Tarot
Past: The Sun (reversed) – You experienced some gloom in the past. If this is not a depressive episode, this could only mean that a goal may have not been reached, or you may have encountered a major hurdle in the past.
Present: 2 of Swords – You are on a gridlock right now. That means, you are stuck in making a decision. This could be a life-altering choice to make, but that lingering feeling may not go away unless you make a decision.
Future: Temperance (reversed) – Moderation and balance would most unlikely happen in the future. A major life decision may be put on the back burner. Hence, being at a standstill and not choosing anything may actually be your choice.
My Interpretation of the Daily Tarot Spread
There is a strong refusal to change from your end. There must be a depressing situation that have happened in the past, and through it, you were caught up in a web of unwanted outcomes. It is an extremely challenging situation that may have caused you, or is now causing you stalemate. What are you refusing to face head on?
The only upright card you have in your spread is the Two of Swords. This, I think, is the most significant card in your spread. The card being in upright equally gives a message that stands out from the rest: make that decision. Otherwise, it will keep on dragging you down until you don’t know when. Transformation, balance, and harmony await you once you make a choice.
Empathy appears in your spread. If your decision has something to do with another person (perhaps a verdict or decision that would change their life too), you are invited to understand where they’re coming from. Come from a place of love, and never ego.
Daily Tarot: Work Your Light
Another suggestion from the universe: go play. If tapping into your empathetic self seems too difficult right now in making a decision, perhaps tapping into your inner child would do the trick for you.
The past conflict (Sun in reverse) may be too much of a burden to you, that’s why you are encumbered with thoughts on how to get out of it. Perhaps another person is dragging you down, and you feel like a decision has to be made. You know it.
While the universe invites you that you must come up with the right decision, perhaps the most convenient way to confront this dilemma is to be present. Celebrate your small wins, and be silly just for today.

My intention every reading: May I speak the truth, may my interpretation be for the highest good, and may my intuitive work contribute to the joy and freedom of all.
While the magic of the Tarot lies with how it resonates with us, it is always best to exercise free will. Tarot is for fun, just as I feel the joy in connecting with my spirit guides as I interpret the cards. Tarot resembles the Hero’s Journey in Mythology, just as how these archetypes are used in the movies. We are all alchemists to transform our lives, and Tarot is just one way towards self-reflection. Do not be co-dependent on Tarot, k? K! /highfive!
