Right off the bat, The Devil’s message is strong enough to instill fear to those who get it: entrapment is only for the willing. You could be living in an abusive relationship, or you have it within you (it’s energetic) that you can’t live without someone or something in your life. I always consider this card a major slap in the face. It may appear negative, but it is and would be, only if you choose to stay within its controlling energy.
No, there are no evil energies around you. Perhaps it’s your way of thinking or seeing things. As a result, you feel trapped, you are co-dependent, or you are falling into the trap of some sort of an abuse. Whatever form that “abuse” is, that’s up to you to decide. Perhaps there are unwanted energies still lurking around you that you need to let go of. And that includes self-doubts and limiting beliefs.
They want change too
The person you’re dealing with seems like they are considering to move away or give something new to themselves. Sometimes this could be in the form of giving themselves some space to breathe, or perhaps daydreaming about what could have been if they take that giant leap away from you. You could be The Devil to this person: tempting, alluring, and sweet-talking them so that they could stay and bear with you a little longer.
